We tried the Dan Dan noodles with pork, roasted sesame, soy, and chili oil. It also had chives and pickled mustard greens which added a crunch. We put extra chili oil in our Dan Dan, Dan Dan noodles are noodles carried on a pole. The Dan Dan noodles had interesting spiciness because I felt it the most at the back of my throat.
We also got the lamb noodles with cumin , chili oil and cilantro. The noodles reminded us of beef stroganoff which also has a creamy mushroom sauce.
Next, we got a order of Lazi-Ji chicken wings which had Sichuan peppercorns, Thai chiles, sesame seeds and peanuts. Those were super hot but they tasted good. They were so hot my eyes were watering like when people eat the chicken wings on Hot Ones.
The last dish we got was dessert. We split a Coconut and Pandan tres leches cake. A Pandan is a tropical plant. The cake had good cream on top. It was a good dessert after a super spicy meal. I also got a coconut water to drink with the spicy food.
It was a small restaurant that was fancy and there was a long line of people waiting out the door. I sat under a picture that read F*ck. The food is served family style so you can try everything. The waitress said that the Dan Dan noodles and the chicken wings were the 2 spiciest things on the menu. In conclusion, we really enjoyed all our food and would go back to this place. I would give this place 5 stars out of 5.
