I tried the Monte Cristo Sandwich. It was ham and cheese inside French toast. It was fried like a doughnut and it came with rhubarb jam. It was crispy on the outside and the inside was soft and doughy. The ham came from a local farm and it was delicious. The rhubarb jam was yummy and it was super tangy. It was my first time trying a Monte Cristo and I really liked it. It came with hash browns and eggs. My eggs were scrambled and the hashbrowns tasted crispy and delicious.
The decor was cozy and we sat at the counter, I recognized one of the pictures on the wall as the same picture that my grandpa has in his house. There were some dead elk heads on the walls and pictures of cows and pigs and paintings of nature. My college professor recommended this restaurant to me. It was crowded on Saturday morning so we had to wait 45 minutes, The wait was worth it. 5 stars out of 5.
